DIY Beach Wavy Hair Spray

Hey guys! I hope your summer is going great. Today I am sharing a recipe I have heard a lot about and will be trying it out soon. Whenever I go to the beach I always want to have those perfect, messy surfer girl waves that you always see, and it seems like I have found the secret to getting them.

What you will need:

-1 spray bottle

-1 cup of hot water (not boiling)

-2 tablespoons of Epsom salt/Sea salt (I’ve heard it works both ways)

-1 teaspoon of a hair gel (unscented)

– 1/2 teaspoon of conditioner (pick a scent that reminds you of the beach!)

*OPTIONAL*

-1 teaspoon of lemon juice (Lemon juice lightens your hair when you are in the sun)

Put the water, salt, hair gel, and conditioner in the spray bottle and shake for 1-2 minutes (or until the salts dissolve). If you are using the lemon juice you want to put it in the fridge for a while but if you aren’t then just wait until it is room temperature. then mist it through your hair. you want your hair to be damp by the mixture not soaked. Then start to scrunch the hair to make sure the hair stays wavy.

After its in your hair you can go and enjoy your day in the sun with your waves!

Thank your for reading and I hope this helps!

Love you,

Brittany
