Scary Halloween Makeup to Make You Stand Out

Halloween is about standing out and putting your creative ideas to use. You don’t have to be scary, most teens take the cute route instead. But Halloween is meant to be scary so if you want to do your own thing and stand out, these makeup ideas are right up your alley. It’s a good idea to start planning now because these different makeup options will require some serious practice and effort. But hopefully you’ll find the end result to be a successful one!

In my opinion, there’s nothing creepier than one normal side and one scary and creepy side. These are all very creative and not very common. You’re sure to make an impact on people if you wear this.

Here are some really cool spiderweb eyeshadow that would be awesome to try. It’d probably work really well with a witch costume. It’d add a new flare to a classic costume that everyone loves. Don’t be afraid to experiment with this! The best thing about Halloween is that you can never go overboard. You can always take things a step further or two if you really want to!

Marie Antoinette Doll Makeup

This is really intense but also kind of cute and incredibly unique. This is perfect to wear to a party where you don’t want to be too scary and you want to look cute, but you want to have some edginess to your look as well. If that sounds like you, this is a look you should go for and put your own spin to it.

Queen of Hearts

I love this makeup because it looks fairly simple. It also creates a stunning look. The Queen of Hearts is a great character and it’s also a really classy one for Halloween.

Cheshire Cat

I might be overdoing it just a little with the Alice in Wonderland characters. But it’s full of characters that have one of a kind hair, makeup, and costume ideas. The Mad Hatter is probably the freakiest of all and there’s really no limits to what you can do with the character. I highlighted these two in particular because both were extremely creative and helpful to me.

Skeleton Makeup

Skeleton makeup can be seriously creepy and awesome if it’s done correctly. These three pictures show different ways that this can be done. It really depends on how much time you have and what you want your overall costume to be. Think about what you want people to feel whenever they see your costume. Makeup is such an awesome thing, who wants to see a skeleton costume if you don’t have the makeup as well? It really gives it the full look and helps all your friends be able to tell what your costume is.

Here’s 6 ideas for makeup that I hope you will enjoy! I wanted to put up the pictures instead of a tutorial because I think that seeing it will give you ideas, then you can choose what you want to do with these ideas. Let your freak flag fly and have a good Halloween!
