A lot of people get easily caught up in their thoughts. We forget to live in the moment and enjoy what is now. Even though it can be hard to stop thinking or worrying about all the stuff that has happened or is going to happen. We have to remember that life is also now and that worrying about tomorrow is not gonna stop the trouble of tomorrow. It’s only going to destroy a moment that could’ve been a good moment if we weren’t thinking about all the bad stuff.
“Worrying does not empty tomorrow of it’s trouble it empties today of its strength”- Corrie Ten Boom
Autumn is the Perfect Season to get back on Track again. Whether it’s schoolwork, your new years resolution, organization or as in this case, Fashion.
By this Time of the Year you are probably already back in college or school and have your week scheduled with a bunch of activities which can get a little bit overwhelming and stressful. So here are some basic Tips and Tricks that you can do every Day to not only look your best but also feel comfortable and fabulously put together.
- KEEP IT CASUAL & CLASSY:
Have you ever seen a model strutting down the runway with bad posture? NO! me neither.
I will tell you a secret… People will think of you as put together and chic no matter what you are wearing as long as you can pull it off and approach it with the right attitude.
If you want to walk around in Joggers all day long, Do it! But make sure to keep great posture and a positive attitude. It will shine trough your clothes and make people around you comfortable.
I would rather way clothes that reflect my personality and make me feel comfortable than brand new designer pieces that don’t suit me.
- GO MONOCHROMATIC
Okay we got, Black is the new Black and will probably never go out of style. It’s something that almost suits everyone, complements any body type and just effortlessly looks badass.
But who said you can’t add a little color or go all “X” Everything. If you are not a Fan of Black (like me) pick out ONE center piece and build your outfit around
that specific clothing item. Make sure to keep it in one color tone and you are good to go.
My TIP: Burgundy Red and Sweater Dresses are all the rage this season. Find a Dress in a beautiful yet sophisticated shade of red, preferably a dark oxblood red and pair it with some Boots, a brown scarf or golden necklace and matching lipstick and nail polish. This will only take you five minutes to throw on, I Promise.
- DON’T BE AFRAID OF COMMITMENT
One of the many great Things in Fall is the Fact that you can finally rock a bold Lip again anywhere you want without being judged. Fall is the Time to try out new Things especially when it comes to
I have always been a Fan of using Lip Balms. I simply can’t leave the house without making sure I have something to moisturize my lips with. A few Years back I discovered that I really like the way a bold Lip makes me more confident. So as soon as Autumn is around the corner I make sure to get my hands on a nice shade of dark plum Lipstick.
My TIP: You can rock a Bold Lipstick to basically any outfit but sometimes it doesn’t get that well along with overly cute and girly outfits.
- LESS IS MORE
Accessorizes are fun to play with, I know. But sometimes the Beauty lies in Simplicity. Fall Fashion Trends feature a variety of beautiful warm color palettes and the only way to make those colors pop even more is by adding almost timeless jewelry pieces. It doesn’t need to be an expensive vintage Watch, a simple nude/brown bracelet and a golden ring will do. If you are wearing a red Top without a scarf try adding a rose-gold necklace and a rose-gold bracelet. LET ME KNOW IN THE COMMENTS how you like that combination. I personally like the almost unnoticeable contrast and how it gives the outfit soft girly yet grown-up Touch.
- STAY CREATIVE
Now last but not least. Stay creative with whatever you do. You can get inspiration from basically anywhere so it’s important to be open-minded about and conquer every situation with braveness. Sometimes it’s good to shed some light onto unexplored Things in order to see things from a different perspective.
